What KAGAMI is

KAGAMI calculates astrological charts and offers Kagami, an AI companion that reads them with you. Astrology is a lens for reflection, not a science that predicts events. Kagami’s replies are written by an AI model: they can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent, and they are for reflection and entertainment only.

Nothing on KAGAMI is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Don’t make important decisions on the strength of a reading alone, and talk to a qualified professional about anything that matters to your health, safety, money or legal position. If you’re in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Give accurate details, keep access to your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Using KAGAMI fairly

Please don’t:

• use KAGAMI for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, deceive or harm anyone;
• share someone else’s personal information (including their birth details) in a way you have no right to;
• try to make Kagami produce content that is unlawful or harmful, or to get around its safeguards;
• use bots, scripts or automated access, scrape the service, or send requests in volumes a person wouldn’t;
• try to break, overload, probe or bypass the security or usage limits of the service, or access other people’s data;
• resell access to KAGAMI or use it to build a competing service.

We set usage limits to keep KAGAMI available and affordable for everyone, and may change them. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.

Your content

Your messages and what you tell Kagami stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them (and to send them to the providers listed in the privacy policy) only as needed to run KAGAMI for you, including showing a conversation to others when you share it by link. When you share a link, you’re responsible for who you send it to and for what it contains about other people.

Kagami’s replies are yours to use for personal purposes. Because they’re generated by AI, similar replies may be given to other people, and we don’t promise that they’re unique.

Our service

KAGAMI, its design, software, texts and artwork belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service as these terms allow, but not copy, modify or redistribute it. We’re always improving KAGAMI, so features may change, and some may be added or removed. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes.

KAGAMI is in early access. Paid plans aren’t available yet; when they are, their prices and terms will be shown before you pay, and these terms will be updated.

Disclaimers

KAGAMI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that readings, charts or calculations will be accurate or suit your purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on KAGAMI. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you haven’t paid us anything. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using KAGAMI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we’re required to by law, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we’ll try to give you notice and a chance to download your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we’ll let signed-in users know before it takes effect. If you keep using KAGAMI after that, you accept the new terms.
